In the Fall of 2017, the Counseling Center will embark on delivering mental health services to UM students on the Miller Campus. It is our hope that by placing a counselor on this campus, the Counseling Center will be able to address the unique needs of this campus through the delivery of confidential clinical services, targeted outreach and prevention programs, engagement with faculty and staff, and development of materials tailored to the Miller Campus.

Should you have an urgent situation, and would like to meet with a clinician at the Miller Campus, please call the Counseling Center at 305-284-5511 to speak with the reception staff and they can provide you information on how to schedule to a brief assessment appointment. Any student can use the walk-in service of the Counseling Center at the Gables Campus without scheduling an appointment. UM Counseling Center records are confidential and are separate from other university records. The privacy of communication between clients and mental health professionals is protected by law. Information about students or their treatment cannot be disclosed to others without their written consent, except for cases of imminent danger to themself or others, reports of child/elder/disabled abuse, or a court order.
