Volunteering for SART

The Sexual Assault Resource Team (SART) has a hotline and a prevention and education component. Both rely heavily on volunteers.

The hotline team accepts graduate students, faculty and staff volunteers. There are volunteers on call 24 hours a day to assist survivors of sexual assault, answer questions and advise callers about University and community resources. The response team is under the supervision of the Counseling Center. Call (305) 284-5511 and ask for Dr. Cleary to volunteer.

SART is also involved in prevention and outreach on campus. Many hotline volunteers also assist in this area. The SART program also appreciates help with ongoing publicity and marketing of the program. If you would like to help us stay visible on campus and in the University community, you may contact Dr. Cleary at the above info. We are open to innovative ideas.
